Do not change the timing controller switch times randomly
The switching cycle for the twin towers is set from the factory (usually 5–10 minutes). Extending the switching time without permission: the adsorption tower gets overloaded, and the dew point collapses; if it’s too short: the valves get slammed frequently, and their lifespan shortens.
Don't keep running solenoid valves or pneumatic valves if they're malfunctioning
If the directional valve gets stuck and doesn’t switch, one tower will keep adsorbing while the other won’t regenerate, losing the drying effect and potentially causing one-way pressure damage to the packing. If you notice an alarm or abnormal dew point, you should repair it promptly instead of toughing it out.
Never leave the filter cartridge unchanged for a long time.
If the pre-filter cartridge times out and fails, water and oil go straight into the drying tower, which is the main reason molecular sieves get scrapped. Replace the cartridge based on pressure difference or cycle.
