Intake pressure
The rated operating pressure is generally 0.4–1.0 MPa, ideally stabilized at 0.6–0.7 MPa. Excessively low pressure results in insufficient regeneration gas flow and incomplete regeneration, leading to a deterioration in the dew point; conversely, over-pressure operation damages the vessel and valves.
Regeneration air consumption
The standard purge air consumption for a heatless dryer is approximately 12–15%; deviations in operating conditions will further increase this loss. Do not arbitrarily adjust the purge air throttle valve to a lower setting, as doing so will directly result in incomplete regeneration and a rise in the outlet dew point.
Matching of operating conditions
When load fluctuations are significant, avoid prolonged operation at flow rates far below the rated capacity or exceeding the rated capacity; operating beyond the rated flow rate leads to overloading and a deterioration of the dew point.
