This twin-tower desiccant dryer adopts pressure swing adsorption with micro-heated regeneration. It removes water vapor from compressed air to achieve stable low pressure dew point (-40℃). Compared with heatless type, it features lower purge air consumption and better energy efficiency. Two adsorption towers work alternately to ensure continuous supply of dry compressed air, widely applied in machinery, electronics, chemical and food industries.

Notes

Normal shutdown
① Turn off the heater 30 minutes early and use the residual heat for cold blowing to protect the heating element;
② Close the air intake valve of the dryer and stop the air compressor from supplying air;
③ Slowly depressurize the twin towers, close the exhaust valve after complete depressurization, and finally cut off the control power;
④ For long-term shutdown (>3 days): tightly close the inlet and outlet valves to prevent atmospheric moisture from getting into the towers and keep the adsorbent dry.
Emergency shutdown
If there’s overheating, severe leaks, strange noises, or a short circuit, cut off power and gas to release pressure immediately, and don’t attempt repairs while under pressure.


Daily inspection
Record the inlet and outlet pressure, regeneration temperature, and dew point; check for any leaks and whether the heater is overheating; make sure the automatic drain of the pre- and post-filters is working properly, with no water accumulation or continuous flowing issues.
