·A Lovely Surprise at the Office
Happy birthday to our colleague Frank! Here at the office, we reckon a good team is built on more than just work. Frank has been with us for a good while now, and he is the sort of bloke who gets things done without any fuss. So when his birthday came around, we decided to give him a proper surprise. We snuck out and got him a lovely little cake, nothing too fancy but it looked brilliant. Then the whole team gathered round and sang him the birthday song. Frank went a bit shy, but you could tell he was made up.
·Hot Pot, Crab and Prawns for Dinner
After the cake and the singing, we all went out for a team dinner. We found a nice place that does hot pot, which is always a winner with our lot. The spread was brilliant — fresh crab, big juicy prawns, and all sorts of veg and noodles bubbling away in the pot. We sat round the table for ages, just chatting and laughing.
·People Matter More Than Anything
Moments like these remind us what really matters. We spend most of our days working side by side, so it is important to step back and appreciate the people behind the job. Frank is a solid part of our team. He works hard, helps others out, and never complains. Celebrating his birthday was our small way of saying cheers for everything he does. We believe a happy team looks after each other, and that spirit carries over into how we treat our customers too.
